Epipremnum Aureum which is commonly known as money plant is a popular houseplant, largely due to the way in which it purifies the air and is a great plant for beginners. It has many other common names such as Devil's Ivy, Golden Pothos, Ceylon Creeper, Silver Vines. One of the most interesting things about money plant is that it is effective in attracting wealth and enhancing good luck. The five leaves on each branch represent the five elements of Nature: Fire, Water, Air, Metals and Wood.
The money plant grows well in partially sunny and partially shady area. Always allow the top soil to dry out before watering. Look out for yellowing leaves, it indicates that its been over-watered and if the leaves turn brown the plant is short of water. Apply a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer (20-20-20) once a month when watering.
